Skills Being MeasuredThis certification exam measures your ability to install, configure, and administer clustering services using Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Before taking the exam, you should be proficient in the job skills listed below. Configuring Windows 2000 Advanced Server for the Cluster Service Installation Configure and troubleshoot the software components of a network before an installation. Components include binding protocols, IP, single point of failure, and network infrastructure services. Configure and troubleshoot the physical components of a network before an installation. Components include hardware, crossover cables, network adapters, hubs, routers, and switches. Configure and troubleshoot volumes before an installation. Configure and troubleshoot external storage subsystem before an installation. Hardware includes SCSI, host adapters, and the Fibre Channel device. Installing, Configuring, and Troubleshooting the Cluster Service Install and configure the Cluster service software.
